Overview of current and past Excursions
Basic principles for our excursions
In addition to various short trips in individual seminars, the Chair of Art History offers a large excursion during Pentecost week. Under the direction of Professor Dr. Markschies we visit different cities or cultural landscapes, which are characterized mainly by heterogeneity. In addition to architecture from the Gothic to the present, we also deal with other visual arts of different epochs, for example painting or sculpture. The aim is to provide the students with a comprehensive overall impression of the places visited and their cultural assets.
Because we want to enable a variety of students to participate in our excursions, we make sure that the total cost is within a reasonable price range for students.
