Description

The elective module Cultural and Historical Foundations III is oriented towards the content foci of the four participating teaching units: art history, architectural history, preservation of historical monuments, and architectural theory. The form and content of the seminars are redefined by the lecturers in each academic year and offer a high degree of breadth in terms of content and methodology.

The topics of the five seminars offered by the Chair of Art History this winter semester are as follows: "Reading Architects, Writing Architects" (A. Markschies), "Architectural Photography" (B. Schillak-Hammers), "Architectural Image" (A. Gormans).

In order to be able to offer a place to all students, the courses of A. Markschies and A. Gormans will be offered twice. So you only have to take one (!) of the five courses. In addition, all courses can be taken by students of the old and the new PO; the associated different performance requirements (2 or 3 CP) will be announced in the first session of each course.
