Bookmark. Looking for a New Logo for the faculty library

   

Description

The task of this STEG, which is supervised together with the librarian of the Art History Library, Dr. Katharina Koop, is to design a small but nice logo for the faculty library of our department. It is important to keep in mind that your creative and catchy design should work just as well on a letterhead as it does as the iconic part of an adhesive label on the spine of a new book to be purchased. If you also want to use the design element of the type mark for your logo, you should not forget that the binding specifications of our university must be observed; if necessary, you can find these out from the RWTH marketing team under the keyword 'Corporate Design'.

The time slots for the short presentations / submission of your designs, which will take place on Friday, July 7, 2023 in the Library of Art History, will be communicated via moodle once the exact number of participants is known. A perhaps not entirely uninteresting additional information on the side, which could once again increase the incentive to get creative, is the fact that with this STEG there may be the possibility for you to be permanently remembered at your place of study: With appropriate feedback, the best design should actually be used.

Submission format in presence: DIN A 4 color printout (with name u. Matr.-Nr.)
