Setting an Example! Looking for a New Logo for the 4th Comprehensive School in Aachen.

   

Description

Even more striking than this distinct ensemble of the buildings of the 4th Aachen Comprehensive School are the unique pedagogical features that this school can claim for itself: the open, independent learning process that replaces frontal teaching, new alternative forms of teaching in cross-year, so-called learning offices and, last but not least, the 'Challenge' project are just some of the aspects that make the school a "full-blown competitor for the role of high schools as leaders in the education system" (Bettina Schürkamp, DBZ 11/2017).
It is all the more astonishing that this attractive school, which now has an impact far beyond the city limits of Aachen, does not yet have an adequately designed logo to identify all these special features. This STEG_reif is intended to address this desideratum.

Dates for digital or face-to-face supervision can be arranged individually during the semester; the form of the final design submission will be announced later.
