Pentecost Excursion to Spain, 2012
Spain. Architecture of Modernity
The Department of Art History is planning an excursion to Spain for the upcoming summer semester 2012. As part of the seminar “Spain. Architecture of Modernity”, we will travel to Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao to study the architecture of the 20th century. The spectrum ranges from Antoni Gaudí's “Modernisme” to the classic modern Ludwig Mies van der Rohe to major projects such as the 1992 Olympics or the “City of Arts and Sciences” by Santiago Calatrava. For organizational reasons, the registration has already been made. There are therefore no more places available for the excursion.
